His professional reputation of excellence began with his Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania and continues to be reflected within his international built work including upwards of 300 noteworthy designs in more than 100 cities within 20 countries involving design projects of vast scale, diversity and global reach. Scott is guided by sensitivity to the culture and climate of a place and personally conceptualizes and delivers all landscape architectural designs. Scott collaborates with key in-house international design directors and a wealth of excellent design leaders who compliment the product and enhance its unique innovative quality. Together the vast design team speaks more than 20 languages and dialects.
Previous to HZS, Scott collaborated and directed the award winning landscape designs for both Hong Kong Disneyland Hotels, Beijing Star River , Panyu Star River and Chongqing Long Hu Fragrant Villa projects. Currently, Scott is personally designing the landscape for the St. Regis Resort Lhasa, Tibet which Forbes Magazine in March 2007 reports, “will undoubtedly be heralded as one of the most extraordinary resorts not only in Asia , but in the entire world.”
